So keeping up with the theme of my last blog, I found another new trend in wedding photography, boudoir photography! I've been trying to scrounge together my venders for my wedding..which has been a blast so far since nearly 90% of the people I wanted are either already booked, or moving. Any who, whilst I was researching photographers in the area, I started noticing something, almost half of them had a "boudoir" section. Not really knowing what it was, I clicked and actually didn't find the shots that un-classy, gross, or pornographic. You'd have to be pretty comfortable in your own skin to do it, which I'm personally not, but if you can get over that, then more power to you! It might make a sexy gift for your husband or bride to be. If you do go that route, I'd suggest buying a safe to keep them in so no nosey relatives ever "accidentally" finds them ;)!
What do you think? Would this be a great memento of the glory days, or is it too much?
I have done it for Valentines Day a year or so ago, and my Fiance LOVES them. They don't show anything "bad" and they are very classy. I had lots of fun doing them and it helped that the photographer was also a Labor and Delivery nurse, so she's seen EVERYTHING and was very comfortable to work with.
ReplyDeleteEven people who don't feel comfortable in their skin could make some.
First, as the previous 'anonymous' commentor said, I'm sure any new husband would LOVE them. Also, I'm sure that any photographer that offers the option would make you completely comfortable and be 100% professional.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion: Maybe the best gift for your new hubby that wouldn't be awkward when working with a professional.
I think they can be done in a classy way, and I'm not against them. It's sort of fun and personal, but I definitely agree that they would need a safe to be kept in haha.
